LC&Partners Project Management & Engineering have been selected to consult the Committee for Sweden’s Participation at Expo for the construction of the country’s pavilion at the World Expo in Dubai in 2020.
The pavilion, designed by Alessandro Ripellino Arkitekter with the local support in Dubai by Dawson Architects, is inspired by the metaphor of the forest and its exhibition space, by Studio Adrien Gardère, features a free ground floor where visitors can wander in the forest and discover the innovative identity of Sweden. Sustainability permeates the Swedish pavilion, entirely built out of wood and designed to be reconstructed and transformed for different future needs, based on a “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” logic.
The project is now entering the challenging construction stage and LC&Partners will support the Swedish Committee in the implementation of this innovative pavilion, devising the most effective roadmap for its successful completion within the tight time constraints given by the Expo2020 programme and the budget allocated by the Swedish Government.
LC&Partners are proud to support this exciting project with their consolidated experience of over 10 years in the construction industry of Dubai.
