LC&Partners Project Management & Engineering signed a contract with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) of the Government of the Philippines for the provision of Project Management services for the construction of the Philippines Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai.
The Philippines Pavilion will be located at the EXPO’s Sustainability District, designed by Budji+Royal Architecture+Design to resemble “Bang-kó-ta” – the ancient Tagalog word for coral reef – to reflect how Filipinos around the world are connected by travel, migration and technology.
The multi-level structure is built on the idea of connectivity and permeability, enabling visitors to experience the island nation and its resilient, creative people. It will showcase a nation with a millennia of history, a sustainable culture, and a vibrant vision of its future. Materials to build the Pavilion will be sourced from the UAE in line with the country’s aim to produce a truly sustainable pavilion.
In addition to the Netherlands and Sweden, LC&Partners are excited to support the Philippines in achieving a successful completion of their ambitious project will certainly be within the most visited pavilions during Expo 2020.
