Selected Projects Ports, Marine and Coastal Works Muscat Fast Ferry Terminal – Muscat, Sultanate of Oman Muscat Fast Ferry Terminal will serve passengers and vehicles connecting the Omani capital with daily routes to the other main national ports (Salalah, Dohfar, Sohar, Duqm) and destinations in neighboring countries (Fujairah in UAE and Aden in Yemen). The new terminal is cast into a spectacular natural landscape and has been designed to become not only a terminal but a destination for locals and tourists, featuring, among other, a spectacular restaurant at the edge of the breakwater. Client: HSS Holdings - UAE Completion period: 2010 Construction cost: 47.5 Mln USD Services provided Masterplan and Concept Design (in cooperation with Tamassociati Architects) Ahmed Abdallah Sambi Ferry Terminal – Moroni, Union of Comoros The new Ferry Terminal in Moroni is meant to be the main hub for passengers and vehicles short-distance (interconnecting Comoros Islands) and long distance (international connections with Madagascar and Eastern Africa) transportation services. The Project features marine works, terminal building, hotel facilities, offices, restaurants and retail, promenades and parking.
