Selected Projects Public Buildings “Baldresca Tennis Hall” – Rovereto, Italy This Tennis Hall in Rovereto, near Trento, features a unique roof structure, built with a load bearing structure consisting of an array of glued laminated hinged crossed arches, with a free span of 40 m and a clearance from 8 to 15 m. The structure has been designed to meet the most demanding seismic and snow loads, granting at the same time ideal winter/summer thermal insulation. Client: Eng. Its local station in Rovereto, near Trento, is located on the edge of the old town, it has been completely renovated in its structures, systems and finishing. The building has been expanded with the addition of a new four-storeys volume on its back side.
