Selected Projects Airports Akwa Ibom Airport, International Passengers Terminal – Uyo, Nigeria The new International Passengers Terminal Building at Akwa Ibom International Airport has been designed for an annual capacity of 1.5 Mln pax/year. A modern and attractive design, mostly relying on a uniquely shaped curved/folded roof structure, is coupled with state of the art facilities (including Code F aprons / passenger loading bridges) and airport systems. Client: Various (Alcon Nig Ltd – Nigeria, 3TI Architecture & Engineering Consultants DMCC – UAE) Completion period: 2011 - 2013 Construction cost: 71 Mln EUR Services provided: Feasibility Study and Concept Design, Detailed Design Muscat International Airport – Muscat, Sultanate of Oman The project regards the construction of a 12 Mln passenger terminal with an area of 350,000 m², a new 4,000 x 60 m runway and associated taxiways, a new Air Traffic Control Tower and Air Traffic Management Centre. The project also includes a new ATC Contingency and Training Centre, new access road system, a 6,000 vehicle car park and more than 50 ancillary buildings.
