Selected Projects Roads and Highways Mestre Highway by-pass – Mestre, Italy Mestre Highway by-pass is a 32.5 km 3+3 lanes highway bypass on A4 highway built around the city of Mestre (near Venice) in the north of Italy. The Project includes 5 main exits with toll barriers and 3 main interchanges, with over 100 km of external roads, along with massive environmental impact mitigation works and new utilities. Client: Various (Idroesse Ingegneria S.r.l., Girpa S.p.a., Gruppo Grigolin S.p.a., STS S.r.l., Mestrinaro S.p.a.) - Italy Completion period: 2004 - 2009 Construction cost: 970 Mln EUR Services provided: Detailed Design, Quantity Surveying, Shop Drawings for multiple structural works (underpasses, viaducts and box culverts) Pedemontana Lombarda Highway – Italy The Pedemontana Lombarda Highway System consists of 67 km of toll highways connecting A8 Milano-Varese and A9 Milano- Como highways with A4 Milano-Venice highway, 20km of beltways in Como and Varese and 70km of local roads, including a massive number of viaducts, bridges, tunnels, culverts and minor works.
