Selected Projects Roads and Highways E45 Highway inner relief by-pass at Madinat Zayed – Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates E45 Highway is an important north/south highway in the western region of the Abu Dhabi Emirate. The main aims of the inner by-pass, approximately 16 Km long, are to provide diversion of truck traffic from Madinat Zayed urban area, improve safety and minimize environmental impacts. Client: JV Stantec-Tatweer - UAE Completion period: 2016 Construction cost: 106.8 Mln USD Services provided: Value Engineering Shah Gas Fields Link Road – Liwa, United Arab Emirates Shah Gas oil fields are located within the Empty Quarter of Liwa desert, in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi. In order to reduce workers commuting time from their accommodation in Al Yhyali to the plants, two link roads alignments have been designed, passing through an area with high sand dunes and connecting Shah Gas plant to E-90 in two phases.
